Caroline Mutoko’s Scholarship for a young Kenyan Leader to attend the 2018 One Young World Summit

Caroline Mutokothe CMO of Radio Africa Group and a leading Kenyan media personality is offering a scholarship for one young leader from Kenya to attend the 2018 One Young World Summit in The Hague, The Netherlands to be held from 17-20 October 2018.

Caroline is, without doubt, the first female broadcaster to command the morning airwaves with a mix of love, charity and brutal honestly for the issues that affect Kenyans most.

Caroline believes that now more than ever, media must look at where Kenya needs to be, where Kenya needs to go and actively and boldly pursue after the conversations, personalities, issues and topics that allow that reality to unfold.

Continuing her support for One Young World and as Co-Chair of the Kenya Local Organising Committee, Caroline has dedicated a scholarship to support one young Kenyan leader to participate in the One Young World Summit 2018, The Hague.

One Young World was founded in 2009 by David Jones and Kate Robertson. It is a UK-based charity that gathers together the brightest young leaders from around the world, empowering them to make lasting connections to create positive change.

It stages an annual Summit where the most valuable young talent from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organisations are joined by world leaders, acting as the One Young World Counsellors.

At the Summit, delegates debate, formulate and share innovative solutions for the pressing issues the world faces.

At past Summits delegates were joined by a line-up of Counsellors that included Justin Trudeau, Emma Watson, Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Sir Bob Geldof, Kofi Annan, Sir Richard Branson, Meghan Markle, Professor Muhammad Yunus, Jamie Oliver, Jack Dorsey and Mary Robinson.
